The MADPATCHER, our bestseller, is a modern machine for repairing holes, surface cracks and other defects of the asphalt pavement, with mixture of the asphalt emulsion and aggregate, without any preparation works beforehand. Within over 30 years of its production, we have gathered invaluable experience in the design and construction of the new model generations.
The MADPATCHER is an independent machine with its own power source and can be mounted on any vehicle with appropriate load capacity, such as a semi-trailer, dump truck, or trailer. The road repair procedure is very simple and does not require any milling of the road surface before repair, nor does it require rolling or vibration curing afterward.


Technology guarantees low costs
Our customers report that their repairs will last for many years. The American National Research Council has demonstrated that the patching repair method is the most durable and economical approach to road repair (National Research Council’s Strategic Research Program H‑353).
By applying this road repair technology, you can achieve significant reductions in both time and costs compared to traditional hot asphalt methods, which involve milling prior to repair and rolling afterward. The emulsion heating system maintains a consistent temperature for the emulsion, ensuring optimal performance.
We have introduced a unique, cost-saving emulsion heating system: the high-efficiency, flow-type Alfa Laval emulsion heater. This system utilizes heat from the Kubota diesel engine’s cooling system to heat the emulsion in the tank, allowing you to use the propane/butane burner only when the Kubota diesel engine is not running. As a result, our emulsion heating system minimizes heating costs.
To our knowledge, no other manufacturer offers such an innovative system. The MADPATCHER requires only a two-person crew: a driver and an operator.
Steps of repair
1. The repaired spot is cleaned and dried with compressed air
2. The surface of the spot is wetted with emulsion layer
3. The aggregate is delivered by air flow to the working head, where the aggregate is precisely coated with emulsion and then blown into the repaired spot by the compressed air
4. The top of the repaired spot is covered with fine aggregate
Once the repair is completed the road is accessible for the traffic. Repaired spots are both durable and solid.
Another advantage of the MADPATCHER is its minimal spattering of aggregate during repair work, allowing both cars and pedestrians to move alongside. During the repair process, the machine occupies only one lane of the road, leaving the other lane free for traffic.
